Donate Hair (Dog, Yours, Cat), Nylons, Etc. for BP Oil Spill
Sign up at Excess Access or A Matter of Trust, non-profits, and they will give you instructions on what items you can donate to help with this oil spill debacle.
Hair is used to create booms which soak up oil.
They can use nylons and hair: human and animal. So if your dog is shedding right now, put it in a bag, make sure it's debris free and clean, and sign up for free to find out where you can ship it. You can read instructions here, but you'll need to sign up (free) to get the address for your state.

Call the pharmacies with the three lowest prices, and let them know what the lowest quote was. Ask if they can beat that price. I've saved $80+ doing this in the past.
