Coupon Usage Increases 27%
According to The Nielsen Company, the redemption of coupons increased by 27% last year. Coupons from weekly newspaper inserts top the list of coupon sources with 89% and actual redemption at 53%. Coupons via the Interested rose a surprising 263% last year. Other coupons sources include electronic checkout coupons at 39%, digital promotions at 31% and coupons found in grocery aisles at 30% redemptions.
